Adult Stem Cell Bill Advances at the Capitol

Are you or a loved one interested in receiving stem cell treatment? For free information, please fill out our treatment form or email me don@repairstemcells.org and just put TREATMENT in the subject box and the MEDICAL CONDITION in the message.
THAT TITLE IS A LITTLE MISLEADING AS THE ARTICLE IS REFERRING TO THE CAPITOL OF COLORADO- DENVER.  HOWEVER, THIS ARTICLE (SEE BELOW) IS  GOOD NEWS ON TWO LEVELS!

1.   THERE IS A NEW BILL WHICH JUST PASSED THROUGH THE COLORADO HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES COMMITTEE UNANIMOUSLY.  THE BILL- HOUSE BILL 1372 WILL CREATE AN ADULT STEM CELLS CURE FUND IN WHICH MOTHERS COULD DONATE THEIR UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD (RICH IN STEM CELLS)  AND IT COULD BE A VOLUNTARY INCOME TAX CHECKOFF. THIS WOULD PROMOTE UMBILICAL CORD BLOOD COLLECTION ALL OVER COLORADO AND PROMOTE ADULT STEM CELL THERAPY AS WELL.

2.  THE BILL PASSED MAINLY BECAUSE OF THE TESTIMONY OF LEUKEMIA SURVIVOR, SHEILA GANNON WHO  RECEIVED AN ADULT STEM CELL TRANSPLANT WITH BLOOD FROM A DONATED UMBILICAL CORD.  SHE TESTIFIED THAT IT SAVED HER LIFE!

GANNON GOES ON TO SAY-
"We are extremely grateful for this technology and the medical community that administers it," she told the State House Health and Human Services Committee. "I often think about the moms that graciously donate their umbilical cord blood. There is no doubt that without this, I would not be here today."
